This is my first attempt at keeping livebearers. I got some Limia perugiae back on June 12th from Dan Walzer. Got 1 male and 4 females and a bit of duckweed for fry cover. I put them in a 20g high with some multies. Came home this past Monday and noticed 2 tiny Limia near the surface! Not sure if there were more and they got eaten or if it was a very small spawn due to the small size of these guys (Male is around 1" and females are between 1-1.5"). The next morning I had only one left, but as of this post he is still hanging in there. I named him Marc Andre in honor of our most excellent goaltender who hung in there and put the kibosh on the Detroit Red Wings the night I brought my new little fishies home.

Thanks again to Dan for the great fish!
